Our Convention Services team works hand-in-hand with the meeting planner from the moment the event is contracted until after the last attendee has left. The team is well trained in providing the expert guidance and support that will ensure the success of your event and a positive experience for you and your attendees.

» Meet the Convention Services team

• Shari Harrison / Director of Convention Services
  A native of Baton Rouge, La. and a graduate of the University of Arkansas, Shari gained her CMP designation in 2002 and has been with the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel for 5 years. Shari has been in the hotel industry for over 28 years.
• Jeanna Baldwin / Associate Director of Convention Services
  A native of San Pedro, Honduras, attended Delgado Community College, Jeanna has been with Starwood since 2001 and with the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel for 4 years. Jeanna is member of NACE and MPI and has a CMP certification.
• Steve Mondi / Convention Services Manager
  Originally from Boston, Mass., Steve attended the University of Massachusetts and moved to New Orleans in 1977. Steve helped open the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel in October 1982 and has been here ever since.
• Shawne Savoie / Convention Services Manager
  A native of New Orleans, and graduate of University of New Orleans, Shawne started her career with the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel in 1985. Fourteen years later, Shawne left the hotel to operate her own bed and breakfast in the New Orleans Garden District. Happily, Shawne returned to the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel in 2004.
• Kay Everage / Convention Services Manager
  A New Orleans native, Kay attended Xavier University. She has been in the hospitality industry since 1994 and with the Sheraton New Orleans for a 5 years.
• Jill Durrett / Convention Services Manager
  A native New Orleanian, Jill graduated from Louisiana State University and went on to receive her Master of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans. She has been in the hospitality industry for three years and is a member of NACE.
• Marcela Moresco / Convention Services Manager
  Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Marcela has lived in New Orleans 20 years and has been working in Meeting & Conventions for the last 17 years. She obtained her CMP certification in 2003.
• Timika Spurlock / Convention Services Manager
  A New Orleans native, Timika has worked in the hospitality industry for 15 years. She began her career at the Sheraton New Orleans, left the city to work as a corporate meeting planner, and returned home in 2007. She obtained her CMP designation in 2005.
• Colby Cashiola / Convention Services Manager
  A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Colby graduated from the University of Wisconsin and has lived all over the country during his last 8 years in the hospitality industry. Colby left the Westin Copley Hotel in Boston to return to his home state in 2008.
